The Community Rail Awards 2020 will take place on Weds 9 December as an online event!
Guests will join the event via Hopin, which is a bespoke event platform and is easy for everyone to access. We will of course provide step-by-step guidance on joining the event well in advance so rest assured you will be able to do so with ease.
We will publish details on how to book your FREE place, in a few weeks but in the meantime, please ensure you save the date and times in your diary.
You will be able book your ticket as an individual or for your group – if you are planning your own localised awards party! There is quite a buzz around community rail as several groups are already making plans to bring their group together locally so they can watch the awards together and hold their own party in their own way. If you intend doing the same please let us know, along with how many people will be there, as you may get a mention on the night!
This is of course dependent on gatherings being permissible under social distancing guidelines for your area at the time, so be sure to keep an eye on that.
We are busy planning the content of the event, which we are very excited about. It will be a combination of awards reveals, guest cameo appearances, partner contributions, interactive fun elements, exhibition area and networking opportunities.
The outline timings are as follows:
18:30 – Optional pre-awards exhibition area and networking – this is an opportunity to join the event platform early to:
- engage with our awards sponsors and partners in an exhibition area
- network with other people
19:00 – Main live event – Awards reveals, interspersed with guest cameo appearances, partner contributions and interactive fun elements
20:30 – Networking/After party – Use the networking option to engage with other individuals and groups after the main event has finished.
