The Association of Community Rail Partnerships will be holding its annual general meeting on 6 November 2019. Attendees will learn out more about the ACoRP’s activities in 2018-19 and plans for 2019-20 and beyond.
The event is kindly being hosted at the office of the West Midlands Rail Executive at 16 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3SD. The venue is approximately 15 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street station. Please see the map at the bottom of this page for further details and directions.
The event runs from 14:15 for 14:30 until approximately 16:00. All ACoRP members are welcome to attend. The final agenda is available to download below.
As well as the formal business of the AGM there will be a presentation from ACoRP’s Chief Executive Jools Townsend on the work of the organisation over the past year along with a discussion on next year’s plans. Also on the agenda is a motion on eligibility to stand for and voting rights to the board. The text of the motion along with background information on its aims can be found on the agenda.
Voting will also be held for members of the ACoRP board. There are five candidates standing for four vacancies – Richard Burningham, Daisy Chapman-Chamberlain, Neville Jephcote, Tim Sparrow and Richard Watts. Voting eligibility at the AGM
- CRP members have the right to vote at our AGM and stand for our board | one nominated representative can do so per membership
- Community stations members have the right to vote at our AGM and stand for our board | one nominated representative can do so per membership
- Honorary members have the right to vote at our AGM and stand for our board
- Station adoption members are welcome to attend but do not have either the right to vote at our AGM nor stand for our board
If you cannot attend the AGM but wish to vote, you can request a proxy form using the form below. All applications for proxy votes must be made by midday on 1 November 2019. Proxy votes must be received by midday 5 November 2019. Please ensure that no more than one proxy vote request is received per eligible membership.
