Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership held its first ever Macmillan coffee morning on East Yorkshire’s Bridlington Station concourse on Friday 24 September.
The event was very popular with their invited members and the travelling public and people gave generously and stayed around for a coffee, cake and chat.
Many of the lines station adopters came and enjoyed chatting and swapping ideas with each other. As well as raising money for Macmillan they also gave out line guides and information to help promote rail travel. The coffee morning raised a total of £236.
