Whilst the format is very different this year, and we can’t be together in person, we’ve been working hard to bring you an exciting, enjoyable and rewarding show, it really is not to be missed!
A reminder to register
Have you signed up to join the virtual Community Rail Awards on Weds 9 December yet?
If not… you can book your place now by clicking the registration button below. This will take you through to Hopin, the online event platform to book your ticket. If you have already booked, you can still encourage friends and colleagues to also book a place at the awards!
An open invitation
There are no limits to the number of people who can join the virtual event, so for the first time ever, EVERYONE involved in Community Rail can attend the Community Rail Awards! Please share this invitation across your own network/organisation, and all stakeholders and feel free to encourage friends and family to sign up too!
We’ve put together a fantastic programme for you and it’s going to be a night to remember!
We have some great entertainment lined up with special guest/celebrity appearances and a showcase to celebrate the incredible work that’s been happening in Community Rail. There’s also the chance for some virtual networking and socialising.
There’s no official dress code – you won’t be on screen unless you request a video chat with another guest and/or visit an expo booth, so come as smart or as casual as you feel comfortable with.
The outline schedule is as follows
- 18:30 Join us for pre-Awards networking and see what’s on offer from some of our sponsors and partners in the exhibition area (expo area)
- 19:00 Awards reveals in the ‘Stage’ area! Sit back and enjoy the show, featuring all the Awards announcements, some specially-commissioned work, and personal messages from leading industry figures, special guests and a few famous faces. You can take another look here at this year’s shortlisted entries
- 20:30 Stay online for a virtual after party – your opportunity to request a video chat with other guests or a member of our team, or you can re-visit the expo area, where some of our sponsors and partners will be keen to engage!
Support our chosen charities
We’re delighted to announce that this year we’re fundraising for two fantastic causes, Fearless and The Tree Council.
Don’t worry, we won’t be expecting you to play virtual “Heads & Tails” on the night! Simply visit our JustGiving pages for Fearless and The Tree Council if you’d like to make a donation to either or both causes, before or during the event on 9 December. We know times are tough for everyone right now, so any donation however small is gratefully received – every penny really does help.
Fearless does vital work to educate and empower young people so they can make positive, informed decisions about reporting crime. It gives them a voice to speak up about crime safely and anonymously, when they feel they have nowhere else to turn.
The Tree Council inspires and empowers people to work together for the love of trees. It has been bringing tree champions together for over 40 years, recognising that trees do so much for us, but they need our help too!
