Community Rail Lancashire are looking for an energetic and self motivated person to join the team. This is a permanent post which will initially focus on developing, in partnership with Avanti West Coast, the ‘Feel Good Field Trips’ project.
This role will work along the whole West Coast Main Line linking young people to experience providers. It will involve close liaison with Avanti West Coast, Community Rail Partnerships, experience providers and young people of primary and secondary school ages.
As a Community Rail Officer you will join a creative team who are working to make a real difference within the community.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to up to 5000 children and young people by taking them on immersive and enriching learning opportunities and introducing them to the joy and benefits of rail travel.

Salary: starting at £34,728
Days: Full time – 37 hours per week.
Location: flexible mix of office and home based.
This role will provide an important addition to the team and will help Community Rail Lancashire play a vital role in the development and expansion of community rail along the West Coast Main Line.
