The community rail education network set up by Community Rail Lancashire is inviting community rail partnership officers nationwide to take part in their virtual meetings.
The meetings, originally set up for CRPs in the north to discuss educational projects taking place across the Northern network, are now being held online via Zoom during the current period of lockdown. The meetings have been designed to assist CRPs to adapt and create new educational projects online during the current time.
Among the topics being discussed are rail safety and trespassing issues, and how education in community rail will look in future months. They also feature a one to one phone call break out session, where officers can chat with peers on work related and personal matters.
The meetings take place fortnightly, with the next being scheduled for Thursday 30 April at 10am. Meetings usually last for two hours.
