Primary school pupils transform Flimby Station

12 Jul, 2019

Year six pupils at Cumbria’s Flimby Primary School have been transforming the look of Flimby Station along with the pupils and staff from Workington Academy, artist Todd and Matthew from The Colourful North and Community Rail Cumbria.

The art department from Workington Academy have supported the project from the start and been instrumental in the planning and design.

Not forgetting the children who also came up with the initial design and loved the spray painting with a wide range of colours, they were absolutely fantastic on the day.

It was great to see organisations working together to deliver this sea themed artwork, it has certainly brightened up the look of Flimby station.
