Hastings Line Community Rail Partnership set to launch

Hastings Line Community Rail Partnership set to launch

13 Oct, 2020

The Hastings Line Community Rail Partnership is being formally launched at Etchingham station on Friday 16 October, appropriately in ‘Hastings Week’ (the Battle of Hastings took place on 14 October 1066).

Covid restrictions prevent a large event, but present will be Tim Barkley, chair of the Southeast Communities Rail Partnership, Huw Merriman MP, local member of parliament and chair of the Transport Select Committee, David Wornham, southeastern’s passengers services director, James Abbott, chair of the Hastings Line CRP, and Catherine Simmons, Hastings Line CRP line officer.

Keep an eye on Community Rail Network’s Twitter feed on Friday for pictures and reaction to the CRP launch.
