Impact reporting app update

Community Rail Network members are using the platform to record and evidence a variety of projects from volunteer hours in station adoption groups to the number of people supported through a local project.  If you’d like to find out more about the Impact platform you’ll find an introduction on our website and you can email with any questions.

Impact users are now able to create and use surveys through the Impact tool.  Current surveys include gathering views, feedback and information on new projects, artwork, building use and integrated transport. There is no limit to the number of responses you can collect, and the tool generates a web link for you to send out via email or add to social media or a website. The survey dashboard generates a spreadsheet report as well as chart graphics and word clouds that you can download.  Impact users can also ask people questions face to face and fill in the responses themselves on their smartphone or tablet.  Some Impact users can create their own surveys, otherwise email and we’ll add a blank survey to your account.  Read the guidance on creating surveys before you get started to make sure things go smoothly.

Sign up for an Impact account

If you would like to try Impact out, then contact for a copy of the user agreement.  Once you have signed this, we’ll create an account for you.  There is no obligation to use Impact once you have an account. You can have a look around the platform and do some practice activity logs to see if it is for you.  Impact accounts are for Community Rail Network members only.

We’ll be running another demo for station adoption groups on Tues 24 August at 11am for one hour on Zoom. Book using the link below. This session is aimed at station adoption groups who might want to use the platform to record their activities.  Rail officers are welcome to attend but may wish to get in touch for a one-to-one demo to look at specific project reporting requirements.
