Kent CRP launches virtual book club

Kent CRP launches virtual book club

21 Apr, 2020

Kent Community Rail Partnership has been adapting their annual activity plan due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, and one of the new activities brought online has been the creation of virtual book club. The club is aiming to bring people together during the lockdown period and foster a sense of community.

The first book to be selected by the virtual book club is Agatha Christie’s “The Mystery of the Blue Train”, which has been selected from many recommendations received from book club members as their first book. Further reading suggestions will be collated (provided they are downloadable), and in a few weeks’ time a voting opportunity will be set up for the members to select the next book club book. The book is available to download at Amazon and other e-book providers

The virtual book club will be hosting their first meeting to discuss The Mystery of the Blue Train at 2-3pm, Thurs 21 May.
