Network Rail are currently undertaking the ‘Railway for Everyone’ network study, which is seeking to identify and address the barriers that customers face when using the railway or that prevent them from using it altogether. They are collaborating with rail industry partners with the study due to be delivered during the summer of 2019. There is an increasing focus within Network Rail and the wider industry around accessibility and inclusivity and Railway for Everyone can help shape the direction of those discussions.
In January and February, Network Rail will be holding a series of workshops around the country, which they hope will allow some local CRPs to contribute further to the study. These sessions will be taking place at the following locations.
- Wednesday 23rd January 2019 | Mercure Glasgow City Hotel, 201 Ingram St, Glasgow G1 1DQ (1000 – 1530)
- Wednesday 30th January 2019 | Radisson Blu, Meridian Gate, Bute Terrace, Cardiff CF10 2FL (1000 – 1530)
- Tuesday 5th February 2019 | Jurys Inn, 245 Broad St, Birmingham B1 2HQ (1000 – 1530)
Each workshop is limited to 50 places and a full itinerary for the day will be available early in the New Year. If you are interested in attending, please contact John Mannion at Network Rail via email (email@example.com) or Nik at ACoRP (firstname.lastname@example.org).
