North Berwick – End of the Line

6 Sep, 2016

With great memories of North Berwick as a youngster, to my surprise a business opportunity transpired after being made redundant in 2011.

My new exciting prospect was to be found at North Berwick Railway Station Kiosk, at the  terminus of the 22.25 mile Edinburgh to North Berwick Line.

I decided to keep the name ScotNews which had been established in 1988 by the previous owners Ken and Terry Denton, who spent a lot of time teaching me my new career!

I continue to carry on and expand the good work with North Berwick on Bloom who maintain the station gardens to award winning standards and with North Berwick Community Council and East Lothian Council who I work with to provide Tourist Information to visitors. We try and make it a day to remember for all visitors to our town. The local community have been very supportive in many ways and make it a great atmosphere in which to work.

ScotRail continueto be a please to work with and it great being part of their team here.

ScotNews is open seven days a week, its a early start, however its well worth it meeting local characters and people from all over the world.
