Penmere station friends produce postcards

13 Oct, 2020
Volunteers at Penmere Station proudly show the fantastic work they have been carrying out.

A station friends group based in Cornwall has produced a range of postcards to promote their station. The Friends of Penmere Station originally had the postcards designed ready for this year’s Community Rail in the City event. With the event being postponed, the postcards will now act as a promotion tool for the station.

The postcards, funded via Community Rail Network’s Small Grants Fund, come in seven different designs, depicting a number of vistas of the station, including an image of Pendennis, the station’s garden engine.

In addition, the group has also produced a banner illustrating the progress they have made in making their station a more welcoming place. The postcards will be available for sale at the station at a later date.
