ACoRP administers a number of grant schemes, on behalf of national and regional government and sometimes industry partners. Each is only open to certain ACoRP members, according to specific criteria applying to each fund.

Designated Community Rail Development Fund (DCRDF)

Community rail partnerships in England on community railway lines that are ‘designated’ by the Department for Transport can apply to this funding scheme, which ACoRP administers on behalf of the DfT. It is intended to support projects and activities set out in CRPs’ annual line plans. There is no funding limit, but match funding must be achieved.

Application for 2017/18 are now closed. A call for applications for 2018/19 will open soon.

Small Grants Fund (England)

ACoRP members in England can apply for small grants (up to £1,000 for CRPs or £250 for small groups) through this scheme, which ACoRP administers on behalf of the Department for Transport.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) Small Grants Fund

TfGM provides financial assistance and wider support to community groups working to further develop Greater Manchester’s rail stations. A funding pot of £20,000 is available for these sorts of community based projects, which can be applied to via ACoRP.
