‘Station adoption: a guide for the local community‘, has been developed by ACoRP to assist new station adoption groups looking to get established and existing groups that are looking for specialist information. It outlines the concept of station adoption within community rail, as well as providing guidance in areas such as establishing a new station adoption group, funding & finance, health & safety requirements, and engaging communities. Within the guide you will find examples and ideas for future development, and advice on how to get ideas off the ground, working with the rail industry.
