Surrey’s Farncombe station receiving Christmas trees kindly donated by the National Trust.

Surrey Hills to South Downs CRP have been sprucing up stations on their line with some Yuletide decoration. The partnership, working with South Western Railway and the National Trust team from the Hindhead Common & Devil’s Punch Bowl AONB, installed freshly cut Christmas trees at five of the partnerships stations at Hazelmere, Farncombe, Goldalming, Milford and Witley.

The trees were donated by the National Trust (a project partner), who have very kindly also offered to pick up and recycle the trees after Christmas. The trees have very well received by passengers at each of the stations.

Another Christmas tree successfully delivered to Godalming Station.
