Community Rail Officer –  Gatwick Airport to Bosham, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton

Part Time, 17.5 hours per week
£20,413.50 per annum (pro rata salary of £10,206.84)

Sussex Community Rail Partnership works to connect the community with its railway, enhance station environments and promote public transport.

The Community Rail Officer will work with the Arun Valley Line Group of the Sussex Community Rail Partnership and be responsible for all aspects of developing, sustaining and taking forward local station partnerships. The officer will work with station partnership groups to develop projects and engage the local community, gain funding for projects, and handle marketing and communications.

Sussex CRP require a highly driven person with excellent management and communication skills, a proven track record in a small complex organisation with geographically dispersed staff and partners, experience of community engagement, grant applications and public transport.

In return they offer a flexible working environment, a train travel pass for duty purposes, a small but dedicated team atmosphere and generous holiday allowance. The post is based at Pulborough railway station and some home working is possible.

Some evening and weekend work will be required and they are happy to discuss flexible working hours.
