Transport for West Midlands have an exciting new opportunity for a proactive, enthusiastic individual to join them as a community rail officer. Through community involvement and engagement, you’ll work to increase and improve the use and development of rail on Worcestershire’s rail network. In particular you’ll be responsible for raising the local, regional and national profile of the Worcestershire Community Rail Partnership (WCRP) area, promoting rail services as a sustainable way to access the towns and cities within the WCRP. You’ll also be involved in developing funding bids to relevant bodies, so you’ll need to be financially astute.

You’ll be nominally based in Birmingham as part of the WMCA but extensive travelling around the Worcestershire area will be an important part of the role.
