Passenger transport watchdog, Transport Focus has continued surveying 2,000 people over the eight months, to gauge attitudes on public transport use during the Covid-19 pandemic. The latest results are available here. We have been regularly summarising the figures for Community Rail News over the past few months.
- There has been an uplift in people making journeys in the last two weeks. 13% have used public transport (up from 11% at the last wave);
- Satisfaction ratings given by those making train journeys are generally consistent or improving; 80% are satisfied with their journey overall and 87% are felt safe when making a journey (up from 76% and 84% at the last wave respectively).
