Passenger transport watchdog, Transport Focus has continued surveying 2,000 people over the past year, to gauge attitudes on public transport use during the Covid-19 pandemic. The latest results are available here. We have been regularly summarising the figures for Community Rail News over the past year.

• 94% of current rail users felt safe travelling by train, in relation to Covid-19.
• 60% of respondants yet to use the train would feel safe doing so, in relation to Covid-19.
• Rail user satisfaction remains high (abover 75% in all cases), relating to the number of people wearing face coverings, ability to social distance from other passengers and overall cleaniness.
