Education Network
The Community Rail Education Network is the go-to place for information on how to engage with schools, young people, and community groups.
The ethos behind the Education Network is to provide opportunities for partnerships and groups to support each other in connecting communities with their railways, educating children and young people on safety, careers, and sustainability whilst giving them the confidence to travel.
As well as offering a forum to share ideas, advice, and feedback in relation to educational engagement in community rail, the Network has devised and promoted a host of educational resources and projects, many of which can be found below.
Education Network meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month and are open to anyone with an interest in railway education. If you would like to join the Network, please contact Education and Youth Engagement Advisor Karen Bennett on karen@communityrail.org.uk.
