Job Title: Community Rail Officer

Salary: £30,493.05 (pro-rata)

Hours: 21 hours per week (part time)

Contract: Temporary (fixed term for 1 year)

Location: North West England

South East Lancashire Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is seeking a part-time community rail officer to deliver projects that connect communities with their railway, with a focus on arts related activities.

The community rail officer will work with South East Lancashire CRP and other relevant partners and stakeholders including train operating companies, Network Rail and other local organisations, to contribute ideas and plan and deliver projects along the routes and stations covered by the CRP.

Key responsibilities include coordinating activities, building partnerships, implementing the CRP’s action plan, and developing programmes to enhance community development in railway and cultural activities.
