Job Title: Community Rail Development Officer
Salary: £16,892-£20,270 (pro-rata)
Hours: 25 hours per week (part time)
Contract: 3-year fixed term contract with option to renew, subject to funding
Location: Ellesmere Port with hybrid location working considered, and with a requirement for travel throughout the partnership area and beyond
North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is seeking a part-time community rail development officer to deliver projects that connect communities with their railway.
North Cheshire CRP is a community grassroots organisation, established as a Community Interest Company, that has a vision to ensure that everyone is proud of our railways, and the contribution they make to the places we live, work or visit within North Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.
The CRP’s key partners include the railway industry, local authorities, other community based organisations and the University of Chester, and the partnership has ambitions for the group of collaborating partners to grow as they develop plans for the future.
The desired candidate should be an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated person, with proven skills and experience, to manage a busy and varied workload promoting and supporting the delivery of the partnership’s work.
