Community Rail Network’s corporate partners offer a variety of different skill sets, knowledge and opportunities to aid our members’ work and support the growth of community rail across Britain.
Some fantastic examples come from our corporate partners TeamBA, who have collaborated with several community rail partnerships and station volunteer groups on creative media projects and event delivery.
Case Study – Essex & South Suffolk CRP
TeamBA is pleased to have worked with the Essex & South Suffolk CRP on a music video, created by local musician and station adopter Scott Dolling and his bandmates.
The song is a joyful tribute to the historic Flitch Line railway and the many beloved landmarks along its route. The video highlights iconic local destinations – including Cressing Temple, Braintree Museum, and the Cross Keys pub – all of which feature prominently in the lyrics and visuals.
The music video was produced with a clear purpose: to celebrate the sights, sounds and memories of the Flitch Line; to encourage residents and visitors to rediscover Essex’s hidden gems; and to use music as a creative, accessible way to promote community rail.
June Povey, Essex & South Suffolk CRP officer, said: “We accessed TeamBA through Community Rail Network’s ‘request support from our corporate partners’ scheme. We always knew that we wanted to film the song, so when we read about TeamBA’s offer, it seemed like a great opportunity. They were knowledgeable, flexible and supportive. We are delighted with the end result and would definitely recommend them.”

Case Study – Heart of England CRP
Heart of England CRP has built on the excitement of Railway 200 and created a lasting legacy for local railway heritage in Leamington Spa. Together with talented artist KatieOArt, funders Chiltern Railways and the fantastic TeamBA, the CRP has documented the station’s mural project whilst celebrating the town as a cultural destination. It is hoped that the video will inspire further murals and encourage more visitors to the area.
Case Study – Haslemere Community Station
TeamBA designed two pull-up banners and a large outdoor display board to raise awareness of Haslemere Station’s historic signal box. The materials highlight the signal box’s significant heritage, upcoming changes and the community-led efforts to preserve it, including elements such as historical facts, key dates, and a call for volunteers, along with QR codes directing visitors to more information.
