This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate Railway 200, marking two centuries since the birth of the railway in Britain. For c2c, the UK first line to be fully electrified in the early 1960s, it’s a moment to reflect on how far we've come and to recognise the vital role that community rail continues to play in connecting people and places, just as it did 200 years ago.
