Avanti West Coast is inviting applications for the next round of its Customer and Communities Improvement Fund (CCIF).

CCIF aims to support projects across the routes and regions Avanti West Coast serve that bring benefits to stations and the communities surrounding them, particularly those which address regeneration challenges and social needs.

Proposed projects / schemes should be located within 10 miles of an Avanti West Coast station or a station the operator serves where there is an identified social need. Applications should outline how the project will work with the community to mitigate the social needs and therefore help to create a more inclusive, prosperous and connected community.

Applications must be submitted by Friday 12 January 2024. The maximum amount that can be applied for is £75,000 and each application will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Each successful project must be completed within the financial year (April to March) in which the funding is gifted.
