Apply for Grow Wild funding to connect urban communities with the natural world

Are you part of a community, youth, or voluntary group? Has your station adoption group got a project idea to help connect local people with the natural world? Do you know an urban space or station platform that would be ideal for a transformation?

If the answer is yes, apply for the 2024 Community Programme from Grow Wild, the national outreach learning programme of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Successful applicants will receive £2,000 to transform an urban space, as well as training and development opportunities.

The opportunity is perfect for community groups with project ideas that connect urban communities with the natural world, in line with Grow Wild’s mission to bring people together to value and enjoy UK native plants.

Grow Wild also has a page of five tips for your grant application, which potential applicants are encouraged to take a look at.

The closing date for applications is 3pm on Tuesday 30 January 2024.

Find out more and submit your application here. You can also learn more about groups and projects Grow Wild has previously supported here.
