Community Rail Network is hosting its annual Community Rail Conference online for the first time. CRP officers and chairs who a wishing to attend and not yet registered, please follow the Eventbrite link in your conference invitation. If you have lost the link or are having issues registering, please contact our events team. Registration closes Monday 1 March 2021.
To make this year’s conference even more accessible, the programme will run over four separate morning sessions spread across two weeks. CRP officers and chairs should expect to attend all four sessions in order to gain the whole conference experience. Like our successful Community Rail Awards ceremony, the digital format will also offer delegates the opportunity for plenty of online interaction and networking.
The programme will feature a combination of presentations from external speakers, Q&A sessions, community rail case studies and breakout activities.
Week one – 8 /9 March 2021
- Part one – Monday 8 March, 10.00-13.30: Engaging and galvanising relationships with local communities, including volunteers and local partners.
- Part two – Tuesday 9 March, 10.00-13.30: Restarting/prioritising projects and activities to support social andeconomic recovery.
Week two – 15 /16 March 2021
- Part three – Monday 15 March, 10.00-12.05: Bringing communities together, working with vulnerable / marginalised groups and promoting social inclusion.
- Part four – Tuesday 16 March, 10.00-14.05: Promoting Rail as safe, accessible and sustainable travel.
