Engage your local young people with creative anti-trespass competition

The Community Rail Education Network met on Thursday 18 July to discuss early careers in rail. Attendees were joined by speakers from across the industry including Rail Delivery Group, Northern and Network Rail, who spoke with the group about the different T-levels, apprenticeships and work experience opportunities available within the sector.

The next Education Network session will be held on Thursday 15 August, where attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas and resources for the 2024 Backtrack Competition. The creative anti-trespass competition is currently in its fifth year, and this session will focus on how members can engage with and encourage young people in their area to get involved. If you would like to join and aren’t currently on the mailing list, please contact Karen.

All notes, resources and recordings from previous meetings are available to view on the Education Network website

The Education Network is open to anyone with an interest in railway education. If you would like to join the Network and attend any of the upcoming meetings, or if you have any education or youth engagement matters you would like to discuss, please contact Karen.
