Explore how you can deliver interactive rail safety lessons through sport

The Community Rail Education Network met on Wednesday 23 April to hear from High Peak & Hope Valley CRP, who shared updates on some of their latest projects, including their ‘Be More Ethel’ initiative. Attendees also discussed plans for this year’s Rail Safety Week. The recording and resources from the meeting can be found here: High Peak and Hope Valley – Be more Ethel! – TrainEd.

The next session will be held on Thursday 29 May, 10-11am, and will explore how community rail partnerships and station groups can deliver interactive and engaging rail safety lessons through sport and physical activity.

All notes, resources and recordings from previous meetings are available to view on the Education Network website

The Education Network is open to anyone with an interest in railway education. If you would like to join the Network and attend any of the upcoming meetings, or if you have any education or youth engagement matters you would like to discuss, please contact Karen Bennett on karen@communityrail.org.uk.
