The Community Rail Education Network met on Wednesday 28 May and heard from Shahiesta Raja from Community Rail Lancashire, who discussed how community rail partnerships and station groups can engage with and empower diverse groups within their different localities. The recording and resources from the meeting can be found here: Working with Diverse Groups – TrainEd.
The next session will be held on Wednesday 25 June, 10-11am, where special guest speakers Leeds Rhinos will be exploring how community rail partnerships and station groups can deliver interactive and engaging rail safety lessons through sport and physical activity.
All notes, resources and recordings from previous meetings are available to view on the Education Network website.
The Education Network is open to anyone with an interest in railway education.
