Are you using or have considering using Passenger Assist on CrossCountry trains?
Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is carrying out independent research for CrossCountry to audit the Passenger Assist service using a mystery shopper approach, and is seeking train travellers to share their insights and perspectives on travel and accessibility.
Passenger Assistance is available to anyone who requires support during their train journey. Learn more about the service here.
The partnership is specifically looking for individuals using routes in the North East/Scotland, Birmingham to South Coast, and across the country between Birmingham, Nottingham/Leicester and Cambridge/Stansted Airport. Users of more intermediate, local, smaller stations (e.g. Wilnecote, Water Orton, Hinckley, Narborough, March etc) are also especially welcome. However, Passenger Assistance must be used for the journey in whatever form.
Whether you’re travelling for an annual holiday, a weekend getaway, a day trip or for business, Gloucestershire CRP and CrossCountry want to know about your journey experience and the quality of your travel. Share your views and make a difference!
Gloucestershire CRP also independently chairs the CrossCountry Accessibility Panel, dedicated to enhancing the customer experience for passengers across the CrossCountry network, and is looking for more people to take part.
Operating under the ethos of ‘nothing about us, without us,’ the panel actively involves disabled individuals in its initiatives, and its activities to date include:
- Co-creating disability awareness training videos for CrossCountry staff
- Designing the CrossCountry Passenger Assist customer experience survey
- Advising on the allocation of the CrossCountry wider accessibility minor works budget
- Providing insights to rail industry stakeholders on accessibility matters
