Hope Valley Explorer links Peak District tourist destinations

A new bus service, starting Saturday 24 July, will link up tourism destinations in Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park with stations on the Hope Valley Line.

The Hope Valley Explorer, operated by Stagecoach, encourages visitors to the area to leave the car behind and take the train from Sheffield or Manchester to join the Hope Valley Explorer at Hope or Bamford Stations. Alternatively, visitors can hop aboard direct from Chesterfield or Dronfield.

Visitors will also have chance to see the wonderful work undertaken by High Peak and Hope Valley CRP and station adopters along the line, making their stations inviting gateways to the area.

The service will run on weekends and bank holidays until 30 October.
