ACEVO (Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) is holding its first ever Climate Week from 9-13 September 2024.
The aim of Climate Week is to trigger inspiring thoughts and ideas about how everyone, whether they are directly involved with climate and environmental action or not, is on a climate journey. For those who haven’t started their journey yet, it is hoped that Climate Week will give them the confidence to begin.
The week-long campaign will include online events, social media content, and a special edition of the ACEVO podcast, featuring Community Rail Network chief executive Jools Townsend, who will be discussing the intersection of climate, transport and social justice.
Community rail partnerships and station groups are encouraged to get involved and use the week to shout about their work, showcasing the diverse and innovative ways in which community rail champions sustainable and inclusive travel, benefiting people and planet.
Get in touch with our comms & policy team to share your plans, so we can support you in amplifying your messages.
