Next week is Better Transport Week (Monday 16 – Sunday 22 June), the annual celebration of how sustainable transport can help connect communities and bring people together.

Better transport – transport that is safe, accessible, affordable, reliable, integrated and green – does amazing things. It connects communities and brings people together; creates a thriving economy and revitalises local areas; it’s good for our health and wellbeing; and it cleans up our air and tackles climate change.

To mark Better Transport Week, Community Rail Network (through their Scenic Rail Britain campaign) and Campaign for Better Transport are inviting you to share ‘scenic views’ from your train seat to be in with a chance of winning a £100 rail travel voucher.

Whether it’s rolling hills, snowy mountain caps, wonderful wildlife, bustling cities or roaring rivers, we want you to share the view from your train seat on social media to celebrate the joys of rail travel. Simply take a snap and post on X, Facebook, Instagram or Bluesky and make sure you use the hashtag #ScenicRailView before 23:59 on Monday 23 June.
