Fantastic new artwork has been unveiled at St Margarets Station, along the New River Line. The station’s signalbox features paintings and photography pieces from members of the local community, developed during lockdown.
Each individual piece of artwork is mounted on large boards that have been sponsored by social enterprise group, French & Jupps, and printed at a discount rate by local design & print company, Universal Signs.
Katie Goldthorpe, New River Line’s Community Rail Partnership Officer said: “It was so lovely to see the artists’ reactions as they saw their pieces in situ. It truly was a community project with sponsorship and supporters all coming from the nearby village.”
