SLC Rail has a strong passion for how the railways can contribute to social, economic, and sustainability goals. Since it started in 2009, the company has been involved in over 60 rail projects and specialises in helping non-industry railway scheme promoters develop and deliver their vision. As part of its work to improve connectivity for local people, it believes that railway stations should be a vital part of the community it serves. That's why SLC Rail supports the Community Rail Network's valuable work and regularly gives back to communities through volunteering work.

As part of their corporate partnership with Community Rail Network, SLC Rail have committed a maximum of 100 hours of pro-bono support (over a 12-month period) to assist Community Rail Network members with free rail and property expertise regarding station and building projects. To find out more about this offer and how to access support please read this member resource protocol.
