Promote walking routes from your stations with Go Jauntly and RailWalks.co.uk

Community Rail Network members are invited to join the first Community Rail Tourism Network session of 2024, on Thursday 8 February, 10-11:30am.

The session will welcome guest speakers Go Jauntly and RailWalks.co.uk, who will be sharing ways community rail partnerships and station groups can work together to promote new and existing station walks to a wider, national audience.

Go Jauntly is a walking app that features walking guides, tours, nature trails and city routes. Users can create their own routes and share them with others. Hana Sutch, CEO and co-founder of Go Jauntly, will be detailing how they’ve worked with community rail partnerships in the past and how you can get involved.

RailWalks.co.uk is a new initiative from Steve Melia, the green travel writer, who is developing a national network of walks between railway stations. Steve will be sharing with us how community rail partnerships and station groups can be involved with adding new and existing walks to the network.
