A national club that organises walks along disused railway lines throughout the UK is looking to make connections with community rail partnerships and station groups.
Railway Ramblers brings together groups of like-minded people to explore old railway routes, including urban strolls, countryside hikes or more remote explorations, ranging from one to ten miles.
The group has also done significant work to encourage the preservation and repurposing of old railway lines as footpaths and cycleways.
The club is keen to establish links with community rail partnerships and station groups, either to encourage new members to sign up and attend walks, or to collaborate on projects that promote walking and wheeling routes accessible by public transport.
