Chris Birks

Full time.

Chris's role is all about amplifying the voices of community rail partnerships, station groups, and passengers from the platform to parliament, and all points in between.

Alongside a lifelong love of rail travel, Chris previously served as head of communications for the Mayor of the East Midlands and led regional communications and engagement work for the UK’s largest trade union. He also spent more than a decade in broadcast media in the UK and Middle East.

Outside work, Chris is a youth leader at his church, a charity trustee and a huge Formula 1 fan.
