Chris Kimberley

Chris is a leader with 50 years' experience working in the railway industry, including roles as commercial director at Northern and director of railway operations at HS2. He currently supports several community-based organisations in a volunteer capacity, including the North Cheshire CRP.

Chris is a passionate advocate of service design in which users’ needs are placed at the centre of the planning process. He has a curious mind, with a “forward-facing” perspective, which celebrates the past but actively seeks out opportunities to collaborate with teams that bring diversity of thought and approach to tackling future challenges.
