Emilie worked in education for 13 years, qualifying as both an English Teacher and a Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
She joined community rail as the Learning Development Manager for Platform Rail - a joint education programme spanning five community rail partnerships. There, she led a team in delivering train trips, workshops and learning experiences for children and young people.
Emilie is taking her passion for promoting accessibility and inclusion into the NHS as a SEND Programme Manager and hopes to continue to champion the needs of young people on the Community Rail Network board.
