The Great Big Green Week, what is promising to be the largest event for climate and nature seen in the UK, takes place 18 – 26 September 2021. Thousands of events and activities, including community stalls, art installations and climate cafes have been planned by community organisations, hubs and groups to celebrate how communities are taking action to tackle climate change and protect green spaces.

There are many ways that community rail partnerships and groups can get involved in The Big Green Week. It could be something as simple as a litter pick or an awareness raising coffee morning, to bigger events such as an active travel week, encouraging people to combine walking and cycling with public transport use for both commuter and leisure travel.
