This session on Monday 27 April, 9.45am-3pm, delivered online via Zoom, will explore the key stages of project management, offering tools and techniques to enable members to effectively deliver successful projects and demonstrate social value.

There will be plenty of time for discussion and to work in small groups.

This workshop is primarily aimed at community rail officers, but station adoption volunteers, CRP chairs and other members are also welcome.  The content here will be similar to previous project management and outcomes sessions with some updated content.  You are welcome to attend again to work through a new project and meet different attendees in the discussion groups.

Here’s what some of last year’s attendees said:

  • “Great, concise content, brilliantly delivered. Great mix of listening and discussion, with just the right amount of breaks.”
  • Having time to stop and reflect has really helped. Sometimes it’s easy to be reactive and stopping means that I can identify where I need to be adapting or using the techniques from today.”
  • “The relaxed but informative way the training was delivered made it more engaging and I retained more of the information.”
  • “Very useful, person-centred, friendly, good pacing and discussions. Thank you!”
