Visitors invited to Handforth Station to explore the Platform for Art and take part in Easter Quiz

The Friends of Handforth Station (FoHS) are pleased to announce their annual Easter Quiz.

The Friends invite everyone to visit Handforth Station to explore the Platform for Art and to find answers to the Easter Quiz. This year’s fun competition is comprised of ten questions, all based on pictures and motifs within the Millennium Screen.

Visitors can collect a guide to the Platform for Art and a quiz entry form from the platforms at Handforth Station. Alternatively, scan the QR codes at the station to access online versions, or visit the FoHS website to see all the details.

Mike Bishop, President of FoHS and the organiser of the quiz, said: “We’d love people to submit their completed entry forms, and we’re advertising the quiz as a chance to win millions… because the prizes include a National Lottery ticket!”

Mike added: “We’re also encouraging people, whether local or visitors, to visit Handforth’s coffee bars, pubs and restaurants, or to stock up at the other local shops for a Spring-time picnic in Meriton Road Park, enjoy the playground and take a ride on Handforth’s Miniature Railway, which is open most weekends.”

The closing date for quiz entries is Monday 17 April. You can keep up to date with future news, projects and events from the Friends of Handforth Station via their Facebook and Twitter.
