Northern and Network Rail are working in partnership with Shipley College to offer pre-employment training supporting unemployed individuals into jobs within the rail industry.
Via the ‘Get Into Rail’ scheme, the organisations are promoting job opportunities across Bradford and Leeds.
Potential roles include:
- Customer service assistants
- Cleaning operatives
- Train conductors
- Administration officers
- Cyber security technicians
Participants can learn about potential career paths, apprenticeships, and customer service in rail, and have opportunities to gain the World Host Principles of Customer Service, Level 2 City & Guilds Customer Service, a Level 1 Employability Certificate, and Essential Digital Skills.
